The STP250 module is suitable for high-performance and low-cost bipolar motor stepper driving. This driver can operate from 12 to 42Vdc ith a nominal current of 2.5A.
A wide series of accessories are also avalaible to complete and customize the application.

 TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Supply voltage
Power stage: min. 12Vdc max 40Vdc.
Logic: 12Vcc +5%.

Phase current
Settable continuosly by means of a potentiometer.
Externally selectable at 30%, 60% and 100% of the nominal current.
Up to 2.5 A/phase.

Resolution
HALF or FULL step selectable by means of an external signal.

Motor types
For stepper motor with 4,6 or 8 windings in serial or parallel mode.

Oscillator
Optional module, to generate step pulses with acceleration and deceleration ramps.

Inputs
All inputs are compatible with standard TTL or CMOS.

DIRECTION input
When this input is activated, the motor direction is reversed.

STEP input
Minimum pulse width: 10us
Maximum frequency: 50KHz

ENABLE input
Optically insulated direction input.
This input enables the driver output stage and, when disabled, the motor is deenergized.

RESET input
When activated, this input reset the motor windings to the default state.
