The STP600D-70 and STP600D-120, stepper drivers, is specially indicated for driving stepper motors in high performances applications.

Operating voltage from 24 to 150Vdc and with a nominal phase current up to 6A in 8 equally spaced levels by dipswitch selection.

Analogic input for automatic step generation.

The STP600D stepper driver board is modular and compact and uses the last generation soluctions to reach the maximum performances and reliability.

The board can be equipped and connected with a wide range of accessories and controls to build a fully customized stepper systems.

  • Fully protected against shortcircuits, overtemperatures and overvoltages

    - only 170 x 100 x 50 mm (STP600D-70)
    - only 170 x 100 x 65 mm (STP600D-120)
  • Nominal phase current in 8 steps
  • Opto insulated inputs to meet harsh industrial conditions
  • FAULT output

    - FAULT

  • Oscillator: built-in with potentiometer or analogic input
  • Automatic current reduction (selectable)


 TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Supply voltage
-70: Nominal value 70V (min 24V) (max 85V)
-120: Nominal value 120V (min 40V) (max 150V)

Phase current
From 1.5A to 6A in 8 equally spaced steps by changing the dipswitch.

Current reduction
The nominal phase current is automatically reduced by 50% after 200ms from the last step received.

Resolution
Full, half and quarter step resolution available.

Motor types
For stepper motor with 4,6 or 8 windings in serial or parallel mode.
Configurable for high and low inductance motors.

DIRECTION input
Optically insulated direction input. This input selects the CCW or CW rotation mode.

Clock input
Minimum width: 7us
Maximu step rate: 50KHz.

ENABLE input
(All windings off)
Optically insulated input.
This input enables the driver output stage and, when disabled, the motor is de-energized.

FAULT output
Open collector output, active low, used to signla the working condition to a PC or PLC
(max 50mA, 30Vcc).
